It is said that time is money but for most of us money is never equivalent to time. It is vice versa. You can have enough money but no time at all. Similarly you can have a hell lot of time, but no money at all. Every human is on this stage. If a person has time, it means he doesn’t have any job to do. If he doesn’t have a good job means there is no money. No money means no friends. And if he has a good job means he also has abundance of money. Isn’t it?
Basically everything is linked with each other and since trading is done on the basis of money, we too are running behind it. Okay tell me, how did you go to know that trading is done with the help of money? Did you see your mother or father doing it from the childhood itself?
It is because of our experience and observation that we have always created right from the childhood. For example, when we were small and went to a bookstore, we got to know that in exchange of books we need to pay for it. And that worth is through money. When we went to large shopping malls or food outlets, the exchange matter was only dealt with money.
So from childhood we have seen and felt that you need to pay money in order to buy something. Now suppose if you don’t pay at all for those things, or suppose if the barter system is reintroduced in today’s world, then what will happen? What will happen to the current situation? Have you ever thought about this situation?
If we see barter system as a mean to exchange good, then it would have been toughest thing to deal with. People would only think about those old methods of exchanging products, and money would have been seen as a very new way, if it was introduced today. I know that I am going out of the topic but money is important because it has some value.
It helps you to buy materialistic things to satisfy at least your physical needs. You might have read this quote somewhere which says that money can’t buy happiness. But really? Money can buy materialistic happiness and not emotional or mental satisfaction. But in reality we always depend on materialistic things. Like a mobile phone, tablets, computer and it has become a need due to the influence of digital world.
No one can live without these things in this modern world because it is an absolute fact. Money has some importance in life especially for those who don’t have will die over it. But why do we become so much insane that we start lending money to our friends?
Money of course won’t come to you so easily. In order to earn money you either need a small job or have a business. But one has to struggle or work hard in order to earn it and that is why it is valued. There are various reasons behind that why we shouldn’t lend money to friends or anyone else. And one of the major reason is Financial Dependence.
FINANCIAL DEPENDENCE AND LACK OF MATURITY
Friends are actually great way to enjoy especially when there are parties or functions. Mostly friends are required to spend quality time or it can be a reason to kill loneliness. Anyhow friends are important and become crucial part of life but the same friends can become enemies and yes we will discuss this point in a very deep manner.
Let’s understand this with an example. Just like a bachelor party some people have parties every single night. It’s not only about men but even women are involved. Drinking is fine, but too much drinking can be harmful. Most of the friends who we meet make friendship for namesake. They talk sweet in front but deep down they only think about enjoyments and treats.
Treats especially from their friend’s money. Actually what happens is that when we have money, a lot of people are attracted to us, and when we don’t, then hardly people will make friendship. As we all know money is need and that is why some people stick in order to fulfil their needs.
When we say friendship or relationship what matters is that how you maintain it. In today’s world it is maintained through money. Since money fulfils materialistic needs, a lot of people are stuck in relationships or friendships that demands money. It definitely becomes and addiction because we get used to it.
Youngsters especially who enjoy on their parents money, help their friends for fulfilling their desire. Here ‘lending’ means giving money for the sake of enjoyment. Some people are so much addicted to alcohol, smoking, gambling that they use their friend’s money when they don’t have. Actually these people never make any source of income and they lend their parents money to their friends.
This money is then used for fulfilling their needs and even some people use it to ruin others life. When there is money there is definitely going to be power. And we all accept this truth, but most important part is that how we use that power. When we lend money to someone, we give power to them, to use it as per their needs. So in this process we make them dependent.
Just like a dog who needs food on time, they too feel like they need money on time and that is from their friends. There is a certain kind of immaturity exists in human being, but that can only be solved if we create barriers and maintain some boundaries.
Suppose you have a pet dog whom you feed every day. You give him nice and tasty food. Now you leave him alone wandering on streets (Please don’t do that). Then what will happen. He will absolutely struggle and will miss you too. He will go hungry and find himself miserable.
But in order to live he has to eat and he will work accordingly for that. Similar is the case of our friends and every close relationships. If we start lending hand for such people they will get dependent and after leaving them alone, they might get or feel angry about you.
In turn leading to disputes, quarrels and sour relationships. And that is how even after being aged but still some people and even relationships remain immature.

Most of the people don’t understand the power of being selfish and minding our own business. The more you get involved in people, the more they will butter you and as we all know that in this way people lure money. We become trap of their emotional thoughts. So focus on yourself and mind your business. Don’t think about others.
