How To Stay Committed To Your Goals

Goals

No matter how much you plan or try to change schedules daily but you won’t be able to change yourself. The reason behind this are your limitations, which you have created for yourself by living in a toxic environment. Yes, toxic here doesn’t mean noise or air pollution but the discouraging and average mindset people around you. Fear, the greatest threat of mankind can be the reason for not being committed towards goals. Fear of losing all the energy and time if the path becomes a failure. We all know that such thoughts always come up but this tendency needs to be changed. The problem is with our thinking.

Even in the happiest time we think negative. And this is happening only because of the development of fear. We can’t change the environment we all know that, but at least we can change our place. The second problem is that we are required to be forced by someone in order to get back to work. How do you see when someone is trying to push an immovable rock?

Apply your entire energy, you won’t be able to change its position. The same case is with ourselves. Take example of your boss. Will you do work without having any orders from your boss? Of course no, unless it’s helping to fill your pockets, you won’t do so. When a person requires a tutor to be taught, then he/she will still score less, when compared to a student who is performing well consistently.

The reason behind this is that we are forced. If you are not loving your work, then how can you even try to think of completing your goals? Possibly this can be called as unrealistic expectations, which we all are facing frequently these days. When you love a person, you don’t require to be told by someone. It’s natural and similarly this attitude is natural.

We all have it but still we are not able to do it because of our laziness. And that is one of the main reason we are not able to complete our goals. Some people even know that this is not going to make any major changes but still they choose to be average. Average mindset individuals lie in this zone. It’s not about the amount of intelligence someone is having.

Even the smartest people fail because they are physically inactive or incapable to perform work. So you might be thinking that what makes people different? It’s their ability to understand the environment, people and their emotions. These individuals are said to be blessed with such powers because they find themselves as sensitive.

It’s not about working your ass for a day and next day getting completely burnout. First of all you need to understand your capabilities. Before even committing over your goals, know whether you are really capable or the goal is within your reach. It’s not about aiming darts blindly.

It’s a straight forward formula. After that you need to find out that how much time you will be able to devote towards it. Everything comes up with cost. You can’t expect a free gift when it comes to goals. Time is equivalent to money. And similar time is equivalent to the input. The more amount of ambitions you have, higher will be timeline needed to complete it.

Patience

EACH DAY MATTERS – ALWAYS MAINTAIN PATIENCE

The biggest challenge people face is the control over their desire. Greed can truly make you dull and sometimes this greed becomes a part of our destiny. Suppose you are given a work to complete. But in order to save time, you take a shortcut. Instead of working systematically, you try to change its direction.

What happens is that you are able to complete the work but the output or the result always differs. That’s the main problem of not being able to remain committed. We try to take shortcuts and then settle in an ugly situation. Ambitions is not like your office work or a daily job. There you can push it over someone and make money.

Here you are doing it for yourself. There it is the loss for the company. Here, you are making a loss for yourself. And this happens with each one of us and yet we are not able to understand the reason. Each day matters. It is similar like you join a gym in order to build muscles. But will you be able to build muscles in a day?

Yet some people have that mindset of pushing themselves to do the impossible. Here impossibility exists because it’s very much a natural process. Don’t try to force yourself to make through a week or even a month. Some of the goals even require years which can be called as a long term practice.

Casual

NEVER TAKE YOUR GOALS IN A CASUAL MANNER

The biggest threat for goal-oriented people is the casual nature which is evolved at a very early age. Whenever we try to take a decision, we are temporarily inspired by it but in reality, it requires your long term input. Casual individuals never respect others, then how can they even think of respecting their decisions.

What remains constant is their lack of interest, no consistent efforts and postponing the work. Commitment is an agreement between your inputs and the decisions you take. In this agreement there are equal chances of failures and success. But this is not the responsibility of the decision. It’s you who is going to take that responsibility.

Even if you tell people that you will be achieving this goal but it doesn’t mean you have already achieved it. And that’s why you will require your constant inputs. Casual people always remain average because their mentality is developed in that manner. They will do things without understanding the logic behind it.

Don’t waste your time in forcing yourself to change. If you are not able to stay committed then remember it’s because of lack of passion for it. Achieving goals is not easy but you can do only if you are willing to do so. Use your logic before getting involved.
