I still remember the excitement when I received my first Paypal Transfer from a founder in UK whom I reached through an Email. Yes, an Email landed me a client. And within 4 days, the same client gave me a bigger contract. But this did not come easy. Procrastination has been my main problem. I think a lot and do little, almost close to nil.

I need clients but I won’t do the work. I will always try to find shortcuts. Spent countless hours trying out different platforms on the Internet but none of them worked. I haven’t made a single penny from any of the outreach platforms other than through Email. The main problem of these platforms are the limitations. Literally every platform I tried had limitations on reaching out.

Then, one fine day I decided to try out Emailing people, not randomly anyone. A well targeted audience especially founders and key people in companies. I created a mailing list of 1500 people and locked-in myself for straight 7 days. Sent 200 emails everyday manually one by one. Followed-up on every single email. On the sixth day, after 7 negative replies and 2 positive replies through this process, I landed my first client. And that too it came from a follow-up email.

I have tried and tested emailing people to understand the market in several different industries like Graphic Design, Recruitment for Experimentation purposes. Following emails were drafted and curated by me and not ChatGpt. Sent it on different timelines. It has given me a decent number of positive responses though it was just for testing.
