A very common question asked in the interviews. Most of them think why they are asking such stupid questions where we all know that we work for money. But do you know what, most of the interviewees never realize the importance of this question and they fail here itself.
It is because they study those things that are relevant to the interview. They never prepare for such questions other than self-introduction. As we all know that the first question for any new candidate appearing for an interview is self-introduction. And that is the only work we do for preparing for any kind of interview.
If you don’t know then this question that “why should I hire you” is asked so many times that candidates baffle a lot. They prepare for self-introduction and questions related to their field. I.e. all the questions related to the course you have studied and sometimes even the practical ones. Suppose I am interviewer and you are an interviewee, so what will be your answer when I ask you this question.
You might answer that joining this organization was a lifetime dream. Your main goal was working for this organization. A candidate might give a lot of answer depending upon what he or she had desired, but the actual answer that most of the interviewers want from you is only one. It’s not a straight forward answer and that’s why we need to think it in a deep manner.
Most of the candidates fail to answer this question correctly. It is because they think only about their hobbies desires and self. Most of the organizations don’t want to know what your hobbies are or what your dreams are. Because they need to hire someone who can provide benefits. They want at least a person who can fulfill the responsibilities at that position.
A manager observes how you answer and what you answer. Managers who are frustrated with their jobs don’t even think of rejecting you at that moment itself. It’s a matter of thinking that why you want to join a specific organization other than ones who are competing with each other. So you need to ask yourself why you are joining an organization.
Apart from explaining them your dreams or your goals, tell them about your value. I mean you need to add value to their organization. That is the answer an interviewer always need to hear. We do those things what others are doing, and then question ourselves that why did we fail for that interview. Smart answers are important rather than trying to by heart answers of those questions.
Don’t do a job because you want to earn money or you will always fail to convince yourself. A job is more about responsibilities and fulfilling objectives. It is supporting a team to lead the organization. Remember learning shouldn’t stop at a point. It is because there is always something you will see at your workplace.
Someone might cheat with you or even congratulate you. There will be customers who will act in a different manner. But don’t ever give up and always move forward.
